    REGIONAL:

    ACBL is running a Regional on BBO Thursday-Sunday, October 15-18. $15 a session.

    CLUB APPRECIATION WEEK:

    The week of Oct.26-Nov.1 will be a special Club Appreciation Week. ALL games will be 2X black points and no extra charge. Because of these extra points, we will be adding some extra games for that week. There will be a 299er game on Tuesday at 12:15 and a 499er game on Sunday at 12:30.

  • Virtual Club Schedule Change and Vern Katz Accomplishment

    See the proposed schedule in the Kibitzer.

    We will not make the changes until Monday the 16th. This will give time for folks to provide more input and if there are modifications that we need to consider, we are happy to do that. For example, there has been a request to make at least one of the 299er games a 499er game. We are just trying to make this work.

  • Stardust Week, November 23-29

    All Virtual games during Stardust Week will be DOUBLE points. 1/4 will be GOLD and 3/4 black. Cost is $7 per game.

    Reminder about the new 299er games on Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:30 and a 499er game on Wednesdays at 9:30. Attendance at those games this past week was excellent. We hope that continues.

  • Winter edition of the Trumpet

    The December edition of the District 20 Trumpet is out. It’s a full issue, with much interesting discussion of the future of bridge in light of the surge in on-line play forced by the pandemic, including a thoughtful article by Don.

    And see Laurie Rowe’s report. Some alert changes are coming effective the first of the year, among them eliminating the inexplicable requirement to alert a support double.
