We have enough interest to hold a 299er game at the Unit Game on September 16. We needed enough people to hold at least a three-table game, and we have that currently with one additional person signed up.
If we get three more people, we’ll have four full tables. So contact Susie Leo at susie@susieleo.com if you’re a 299er and can play on September 16.
Breakfast will be out at 9am with the game starting at 9:30. Hope you can make it!

Oregon Coast Regional at the Seaside Convention Center
Seaside, Oregon, October 2-8, 2023
Another great tournament in a great venue is scheduled for the first week in October. Make your plans now so as not to miss out on all the fun at this popular oceanside retreat and 5th largest Regional. It’s an ideal place for bridge and many other activities that folks enjoy when not at the card tables! View the flyer.
Message from the Tournament Manager:
“I know many of you were hoping to see a 10 and 3 schedule for Seaside this year. The problem is that Seaside is a “destination“ tournament where many play in the 9 o’clock session as well as the afternoon and evening events. The tournament would be much less successful if we went from three sessions a day to two sessions.
Therefore, I have come up with what is, I hope, a reasonable alternative for those who don’t want to play in the evening. I have added a two-session Open Pairs event for Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 9 am and another for Thursday/ Friday at 9 am. Players could then also play in the side game at 1 o’clock on some days and maybe do fun activities on other days, e.g. walking on the beach, exploring the wonderful city of Astoria or Cannon Beach, etc. I hope you find this will work for those of you who wanted a 10 & 3 schedule, and I am looking forward to seeing you all in Seaside.”
