    We had a tremendous turnout Saturday: 9½ tables in the open, and 5 full tables in the 349er section. Thanks to all, and a special thanks to the 349ers who filled up the back room.

    Rebecca Kovach and Denise Gudger provided a great breakfast to get us started. Thank you!

    Unit Game Saturday at 9:30 – 349ers Needed

    The next Unit game is THIS SATURDAY, December 16! Remember there will be fabulous food at 9:00 followed by amazing bridge at 9:30.

    We currently have three tables of 349ers signed up for the limited section. We’ll hold the game with three tables, but it’s a much better game to have at least one more table. Help us spread the word to our 349ers!

    Mentor Mentee Game

    From Susie and Joyce:

    We are excited to announce the return of the Mentor Mentee game! In brief, more experienced players will be partnered with less experienced players. The idea is for it to be FUN and helpful. Both the Mentors and Mentees can learn something.

    This event will be on Saturday, January 27 at 9:30. That way, our working members can participate. There will be 2 sign up sheets at the club. One for Mentors and one for Mentees.

    Are you in that middle Master Point range and don’t know where you should sign up? Don’t worry. Just sign up on either list so we know you want to play. Depending on how many people sign up on each list, we will make sure you have a great pairing.

    Jewelry Sale at the Club to Benefit Maui Wildfire Victims

    Joanie Fulton is setting up the jewelry sale at the club the week of November 13.

    From Joanie:

    I am going to have a benefit for the families of Lahaina and Maui who lost everything in the devastating fires that destroyed Lahaina and Up Country on August 8th.

    I have been making necklaces and earrings from fresh water pearls, semi precious stones, Swarovski crystals and beads. Liz Kurtz (my bridge partner) and others generously donated their bead collections to me, and Harlequin Bead Store has kindly given me a discount and much instruction and encouragement. Every penny of the proceeds will go to help these families.

    I will set up in the area between the two rooms.
