The February Unit Game (Saturday, February 18) includes the annual unit party and election.

Once again, the unit is providing free pizza after the game. Game starts at 9:30am.

You need to sign up for this event at the club or with Betsy Ovitt so we buy enough pizza.

Double Dummy Documentary Now Available for Streaming

Double Dummy is a documentary film, featuring a team of Americans playing in the junior world championships of bridge. It’s now freely streamable here, on the PBS App, and on PBS Passport. The cast includes recent ACBL Player of the Year winner Zach Grossack, and three former Kings of Bridge.

Swiss Team Game Moving to First Saturday at 9:30am
Beginning in March, the Swiss team game will be held on the first Saturday of the month at 9:30am.

Eugene Sectional and I/N Regional, June 2 – June 4
Eugene’s only tournament for 2023 will be a combined open sectional and intermediate/newcomer regional.

This is a great opportunity for players with 750 or fewer points to earn 1/3 gold points and 2/3 red.

The open sectional will award silver points.

Also, this report has some interesting numbers for our club, which is doing quite well in membership numbers compared to other clubs in District 20.
