GOLD/RED points will be awarded to those who have less than 750 ACBL Master points at our 1st annual I/N Regional – Open Sectional June 2nd-4th, 2023 in Eugene. The event is hosted by Unit 479 at the beautiful Morse Event Center near Bushnell University.

To earn the gold/red MP’s all you have to do is win master points in either 1 of the 2 Gold Rush sessions. You can choose to only play in one session and if you win master points, those points will be red. But when you play in the second session, whether you win any more points or not, the points already earned will turn to 1/3 gold and 2/3 red.

Gold Rush is popular way for those less experienced players to get the colored points needed to become a life master. The Gold Rush will also be stratified into  0-300, 300-750 to level the competition.

The open Sectional is for any and all skill level players and will have their own stratified games on Friday and Saturday as well as Swiss Team game on Sunday. Silver points will be awarded for the open sectional and Swiss team game. Hand records will be available for all games including the Swiss team game.

Come for the Gold points, good food, good friends and to meet new friends.

Proof of Covid 19 vaccination will NOT be required.

I hope to see you soon. Be sure to find me and say “hi”. I’d love to meet you.

Tournament coordinator
