Seaside Regional Coming Up the End of September — Plan Ahead!

The crown jewel of Oregon bridge tournaments, the Seaside Regional, is coming up September 29 through October 5.

The Seaside Regional is the fifth largest regional in the country, and no wonder: a beautiful location on the Oregon Coast, great playing venue, big name players, and plenty of opportunities for developing players.

If you’ve been thinking about going, time to get your accommodations booked. Hotels can fill up for this event.

Notice a new event: two sessions of bracketed pairs on October 4. See the schedule notes in the flyer below for what this means. Could be an interesting event.

As always, there are plenty of opportunities for newer players to earn gold and red points.

A good warm up for the Seaside event is the Portland Fall Intermediate/Newcomer Regional and Open Sectional coming up September 12 through September 14. The playing venue is in Wilsonville, so not a bad drive from Eugene/Springfield. Here’s the flyer.
